The Curt Class III hitch # C13315 made for your 2016 Lexus NX 200t does indeed use a different mounting point than the Draw-Tite # 75956. The reason is that the higher tongue weight (TW) capacity of the Curt hitch, 600-lbs, requires installation on a different section of the frame. My contact at Curt confirmed this for me. The other hitches' TW capacities are 350-lbs. I'd definitely go for the Curt hitch for your car.

When you install an aftermarket part on your vehicle like a trailer hitch in this case, you are protected by the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. This act states, in part, that unless the installation and the part caused a problem then the warranty cannot be voided. I recommend looking it up online.

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118652 is a confirmed fit for your 2016 Lexus NX 200t. This harness actually installs inline with the factory taillight wiring harness so there will not be any sort of unused plug if that was what you were looking for. In order to access the factory taillight wiring harness you need to remove a few trim panels. I have then attached a photo that shows where the factory taillight wiring harness is located.
